Architecture competition Rome Collective Living Challenge Honorable mention - Lund University

We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the winner of the Honorable mention of our “Rome Collective Living Challenge ” competition - Gustav Svanberg, Isak Jannert and Anna McDermott from Sweden!

Gustav Svanberg, Isak Jannert and Anna McDermott from Sweden

We are each undertaking our Masters in Architecture at the moment.

We have undertaken many different scales and types of buildings throughout our education, including during our Bachelor’s degrees in Umea, Lund and Dublin.

What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?

Architects are who we aspire to be, to use our skills to benefit our world and our society.

Why do you participate in architecture vision competitions?

We think they are useful and important tools to explore the issues we face as a society in our everyday lives.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture vision competitions?

Try it, it can be fun!
